I just received this message from my local pro-life pregnancy center and I want to share it with everyone. If you read this message in time, please pray at 1 PM EST! A rosary would be wonderful, but if you don't have time for a rosary, just a short prayer will do. If you're reading this message after the "Twitter backlash," please still pray! God is outside of time. He hears our prayers no matter when we send them to Him! Here's the message from Zoe, A Woman's Center, located in Maine, USA: Today, at 1:00pm, there is a planned online event to create a social media backlash against pregnancy centers. Reproaction, a pro-choice activist group, will be hosting a "Tweet Storm" on Twitter. Using the hashtag #BadFaithMedicine, they are encouraging participants to tweet against "fake clinics" and generally malign pregnancy centers on social media. Zoe, A Women's Center is listed as a "fake clinic", as are the other Centers located in Maine. As always, we want to inform you about this not to stir up fear, or to create panic, but rather to keep you aware and prepared for the potential for increased online furor. What can we do about it? First of all, pray. We know that so much of the hurt and hatred being spread around by those who misunderstand our life-affirming mission is rooted in ignorance and the need for a change in hearts and minds. Pray against backlash toward our leaders and centers. Pray for the hearts of these angry, misled people to be changed and for their eyes to be opened to the truth of abortion and the true support that pregnancy centers provide. Also, if you are on Twitter, maybe you could consider kindly and positively sharing your uplifting experiences with Zoe, A Women's Center on Twitter at the same time as this "event" using the same hashtag. It seems I have many prayer requests today! Please also pray for my mother-in-law, who has had to be rushed to the ER both yesterday and today. She's so dizzy she can't stand, and severely nauseous. Honestly, she hasn't been well since she injected the poison of the covid vaccination into her system. 😪 Speaking of covid, please also pray for my step-daughter and her husband. They both have covid. Being young and unvaccinated, they should get very mild cases of the virus. However, my step-daughter permanently damaged her lungs due to smoking and vaping, so now she has health issues. Her husband had a serious brain tumor years ago, which was successfully removed. However, he's had health issues ever since, and every cold or flu he contracts hits him harder than the average person. Thank you for your prayers!

I would greatly appreciate prayers for my young nephew, Freddie. He has Beckwith Wiedmann Syndrome, so he has a 10% chance of getting kidney or liver cancer before 10 of age. Every 3 months until the age of 10 he'll have blood tests and ultrasound tests to be sure he's okay. After the 10 of ten, when growth starts to slow, he'll be in the clear. He's just a toddler now, so he has many years to go. Please also pray for his parents, my sister and her husband. They're obviously under a great deal of stress right now. Thank you!

I'm a total bookworm and love reading ... well, a lot! Right now I'm reading a fascinating book called Ungodly Rage: The Hidden Face of Catholic Feminism, by Donna Steichen, along with several books on spiritual direction. I'd love to hear what others are reading, or what your favourite Catholic books are, or any recommendations!

I would like to ask everyone to pray for my Dad. He's in very poor health, with serious heart issues. If he has one more heart incident, likely he won't survive. My father was raised Catholic but rejected Catholicism long ago. He laughs at the Church teachings and feels his life of of "footloose and fancy free" is the best. Although I do ask that you pray for his health, more importantly I'm begging for prayers for his eternal soul. I love my father, but to be honest, I'd rather see him die tomorrow in communion with Christ and the Church, after receiving the sacraments, then have him live another ten years and pass away without conversion. Pray for his soul, please!
