Tucker Carlson's latest Twitter presentation* left me tense and twisted like a pretzel. His was a fast13 minutes of sarcasm and satirical diatribe, all of it justified in my opinion, but I was tired of it towards the end. I got Tucker's point when he first pretended the facts didn't fit the appearance that Media often makes them out to be, even as he went on and on, citing things that offend and irritate and scandalize--all things President Biden is guilty of.
I'm tired of having evil paraded before me, from the Left or the Right, regarding either the State or the Church. I know Tucker's on a campaign to fight back against today's political injustices, and for that, millions who watch are grateful, including me. But I wish we'd stop hearing what Trump supposedly did, or what I am pretty certain Biden is getting away with--even as we are obliged to call out wrongs committed against the public and our freedoms. I wish all this political posturing would be replaced with the beauty and goodness regular people long to hear and experience again on a daily basis. In other words, I wish this wasn't the world we're living in. Unfortunately, presentations like Tucker's (or recent statements by Bishop Vigano, Strickland and so on) remind me that such yearnings come from another world, one far different from ours.
In such cases of emotional turmoil, I turn to the Psalmist for reassurance and direction: "...in God I trust; I shall not fear: what can mortal man do to me?" (Ps. 56:11).

There was a time when journalism exposed and proper authorities acted. Right now we just have journalists on the right exposing the evil of the left and journalists on the left covering it all up. The missing piece is actual justice. If someone in authority actually DID something about this evil we'd hear less of the negative.
I also feel as if everything is being marketed as negative, much easier to control the broken and down trodden. We must now more than ever band together and push back with light and love ❤️ We must work to show that the devil is arrogant and thinks he is winning but we know who is actually Victorious!
Sadly, Father,
It is the world we're living in, a world where almost everything becomes political, even "art". What to do? Create some beauty. God, beauty itself, will help. Stay strong and God bless.
