Trust is something that can be difficult to have. More so as it relates to faith and the church. Trusting in God can be a challenge at times. Mainly because in order to fully trust God you must reject everything that you see as it relates to things going on around you. To realize that no matter what is going on. That with God all things are possible. Even if we cannot always see or understand.
This is a lesson that I’ve had to learn more than a few times. With my own life I have seen how God can change the direction of things. Issues that I tend to keep deep into prayer. I see the path before me and see only one possible conclusion that may not be ideal. I see things as they could turn out in the physical world only to be proven wrong by God. With God changing the direction and course of things in ways that not even I could I see happening. Which is why that no matter what is going on we must allow ourselves to trust that God has a plan in all of this.
Yet it can be very difficult to have trust in God. More so when it feels like we have more in common with Job. Such as many things going wrong at the same time. Life on the edge of completely falling apart. Even when we know that God is very much present in our lives. Even the middle of the storm. However this not due to a lack of faith. Rather we get so caught up in the storm that it is hard to believe that God will step in and offer His help in our time of need. Yet we should always trust God to guide is though the rough times.
The challenges of life, big and small, can easily bog us down. To the point that it makes seeing God work in our lives more difficult to see. Yet as I reflect on this element of trust. I know from the many things going on in my life that God is always with me. -
