1. Christian faith is the firm conviction, arrived at with the grace of God, that all that Jesus Christ taught on earth is true, as well as all that the Catholic Church teaches by the commission she has received from Him. 2. Faith is concerned with many things which we cannot perceive with our senses and cannot grasp with our understanding. 3. We act quite in accordance with reason when we believe, because we trust ourselves to God's truthfulness, and because we know for certain that the truths of faith are revealed to us by God.
