105 public prayer vigils in honour of the Holy Face of Jesus were held across Ireland today on Good Friday 2023. The nationwide event was organised by Human Life International Ireland which is headed by Patrick Mc Crystal.
In recent years, HLI Ireland have done much work to spread information about the devotion to The Holy Face of Jesus. The primary purpose of the devotion is to make reparation for sins against the first three commandments: Denial of God, Blasphemy, and the profanation of Sundays and Holy Days.
Jesus revealed to Sister Mary of St Peter in the 1840s that He wished to establish the Archconfraternity of The Holy Face as a means to make reparation to God. In the revelations to Sister Mary of St Peter, Sister Mary writes - " If a king or even an ambassador be despised or set at naught by a foreign nation, his countrymen fly to arms, the honour of the king must be avenged; troops are levied and the death of thousands is counted for naught. And yet, the most holy and terrible Name of God of armies, of the King of Kings is despised and blasphemed; his holy Day is profaned by an infinite number of sinners, and not one is concerned, no one thinks of avenging him! But behold! Our Lord Jesus Christ, the ambassador from the kingdom of heaven, demands reparation of honour for His Divine Father, or proclaims war against us, for he has threatened France with His wrath. Shall we hesitate in our choice?"
Jesus said to Sister Mary of Saint Peter - " Oh, you who are my friends, and My faithful children, look and see if there be any sorrow like mine. Everywhere My enemies despise and insult both My Eternal Father and My Church, the cherished Spouse of My Heart. Will no one rise up to console Me by defending the glory of My Father, and the honour of My Spouse, which has been so cruelly attacked? I can no longer remain in the midst of a people that will continue to be so heedless and so ungrateful. Look at the torrents of tears that stream from My eyes! Can I find no one to wipe away these tears by making reparation to My Father, and imploring forgiveness for the guilty?"
Hopefully Jesus was consoled by over 1,000 people who rose up to honour His name across Ireland today. HLI Ireland have also been running a poster campaign for the past 7 years in which the Face of Jesus is placed on billboards across the country to remind people about God. This year 70 full sized billboards of The Holy Face have been put on display across Ireland with at least one in every single county.
The billboards also include a verse from God's Holy Word from 2 Chronicles - 7:14 14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
It is an important verse because if we do not repent, then we will suffer at the hands of Godless world leaders who are trying to further their communism.
Patrick also said "Ireland in so many ways has turned away from God, but not only that, it is under assault by external... communistic forces"
God has given us the remedy to the the evils we face and showed us how we can defeat the communists. In His revelations to Sister Mary of St Peter, Jesus mentioned communism by name and stated that "their machinations are vain,” Our Lord assured, “their designs shall be foiled!
