'We are organising an extra Rosary on St Patrick's Day - Friday 17 March 2033 on Slemish mountain at the Mass Rock.
Two priests so far have agreed to concelebrate Mass at 2pm . There may be more on the day!!
We are inviting the men's and women's Rosary groups from all around Ireland to come to it. A Rosary will be said at the Mass Rock at 1pm.
People from a distance might like to make a weekend of it and stay in the North for the Bank Holiday weekend and make the day on Slemish the highlight of the weekend!
Ballymena council are running free shuttle buses from just outside Ballymena, at the old Michelin Tyre factory where there is a huge carpark, up to the carpark at Slemish.
The Mass Rock is about 300 metres from the carpark up a slight incline over uneven ground.
Families will be welcome on the understanding that we have no stewards to look after the children.
There are several chip and burger and ice cream vans and picnic tables on site at the Slemish carpark.
It could be a great family day out!
Many hundreds of men, women and families climb Slemish on St Patrick's Day and it is a wonderful opportunity to give public witness to our faith.'
I hope to be there.
