Prayer to the Prescious Blood

Fr. Faber advised, “If every evening, before we retire, we would ask the Blessed Virgin Mary to offer to God the Precious Blood of her Divine Son Jesus for the intention that thereby one mortal sin which might be committed somewhere that night might be prevented, and if every morning this offering were renewed from day to day, we could prevent many mortal sins.”

Here is another good one from Saint Gertrude the Great. God promised to release 1,000 souls from purgatory each time it is prayed:

“Eternal Father, I offer You the Most Precious Blood of Your Divine Son Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.”
