Pope Francis, the Irish bishops and the Irish government must accept Vatican Council II.
Pope Francis must accept Vatican Council II according to Traditionis Custode : the Blue Column is the only rational option.
A recent stage of this dynamic was constituted by Vatican Council II where the Catholic episcopate came together to listen and to discern the path for the Church indicated by the Holy Spirit. To doubt the Council is to doubt the intentions of those very Fathers who exercised their collegial power in a solemn manner cum Petro et sub Petro in an ecumenical council, and, in the final analysis, to doubt the Holy Spirit himself who guides the Church.- Letter of Pope Francis which accompanies Traditionis Custode(Emphasis added)

Every Catholic and both the popes must accept Vatican Council II.They must only accept Vatican Council II interpreted rationally. Pope Francis does not accept Vatican Council II interpreted with a Ratonal Premise.
The Holy Spirit cannot guide the Church to use the False Premise, the Red Column to interpet the Council.
So we cannot ‘doubt the Council’ when it is interpreted with a Rational Premise. Before the Letter of the Holy Office 1949 (LOHO) the popes and saints only used the Rational Premise to interpret the baptism of desire(BOD) and being saved in invincible ignorance(I.I). This was before 1949. So when the LOHO used the False Premise, the Red Column, to interpret BOD and I.I and project them as practical exceptions for Feeneyite extra ecclesiam nulla salus it was an objective mistake. It cannot be Magisterial.
It is ‘ideology’, leftist ideology when Vatican Council II is interpreted with the Red Column. 1
Pope Francis also recently told young people to evangelize but without ideology. He meant Vatican Council II had to be interpreted with the Red Column only to create a break with the past Magisterium, inspired by the Holy Spirit, on the Syllabus of Errors of Pope Pius IX, the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus(EENS) and the Athanasius Creed.
If Vatican Council II is interpreted with the Blue Column, young people would be evangelizing like the missionaries and Magisterium of the 16th century.Since there would be no practical exceptions mentioned in the text of the Council , for EENS according to the Church Fathers and the Jesuits of the Middle Ages. This would be politically incorrect for the Left and Pope Francis. It would ‘ideology’ for him.But still- we all, including the Irish bishops and government organisations, have to interpret the Council, honestly and rationally.
The Irish Education MInistry like that in Germany and other countries must ask students to only interpret Vatican Council II with the Blue Column, the rational column.

CNA, Aug 14, 2021 Pope Francis warned against misuse of the liturgy that places an emphasis on ideology in a video message sent Friday to a Latin American conference on religious life.
“Let us not forget that a faith that is not inculturated is not authentic. For this reason, I invite you to participate in the process that will provide the true sense of a culture that exists in the soul of the people,” Pope Francis said in the video sent on Aug. 13.
“When this inculturation does not take place, Christian life, and even more so the consecrated life, ends up with the oddest and most ridiculous Gnostic tendencies. We’ve seen this, for example, in the misuse of the liturgy [where] what is important is ideology rather than the reality of the people. This is not the Gospel.”
The pope’s video message was featured at a virtual conference organized by the Confederation of Latin American and Caribbean Religious (CLAR).
Pope Francis: Nostalgia is the 'siren song of religious life'
This is a very important issue in the Catholic Church. We can go back to the theology and doctrines of the Irish Catholic Church over the centuries, by simply interpreting Vatican Council II with the rational, Blue Column. This is what Pope Benedict called the hermeneutic of continuity with Tradition.
